An e-commerce shop that expands a crafty business owner's reach and helps connect her to her audience.

While the following challenges are not exclusive to this project, this project was selected to showcase these particular difficulties.
Special Challenges
Pay Integration using Stripe. For processing payments Stripe proved to be a good option and allows for the customer to accept payments via credit cards, debit cards, paypal, and monthly payment options like Klarna. The cart respects stock quantities, and product sizes. The checkout accounts for taxes based on locale, shipping fees, and collects customer information based on business owner needs and accepted information risk responsibility.
A Content Management system that allows for business owner to manage prices and stock on a product and product size basis. Also allows for the addition of products to catalog as well as the management of their details. An orders page was made to help with the processing and tracking of orders. This multilayered design meant designing for both the consumer and business owner. This proved to be a great project for combining functionality and design skills which as a full-stack developer I really enjoyed.
User Experience was more complex given that users in this project meant paying customers. Making the site easy to understand and providing feedback to users at every step of shopping was very important. This was done through visual cues, cart action confirmations, and confirmation pages. Messaging was also translated into spanish as the business currently has a strong spanish speaking base.
